A good way to approach British Bridal is to choose on shape first and detail second. The gowns on this page, from Donna and Diane to Evie, Gaynor and Isla, differ most in where the waist sits, how much skirt there is and what happens at the back, so we'd suggest trying several silhouettes before you settle on a favourite.
That matters because a gown that looks plain on a hanger can change completely once it's on you. A neckline you thought you didn't want may suit your shoulders, and a skirt that seemed too full may move far more lightly than the photo suggests. Bring a few pictures of gowns you love (on your rail) and a couple you're unsure about, and we'll build your first rail around both.
It also helps to think about the wedding itself before you choose. A church aisle, a barn and a Registry Office all ask different things of a hem and a train, so tell us where you're getting married and roughly how many hours you'll be in the dress, and we'll pull gowns that will cope with your day as well as look good in the mirror. Ivory, white and soft shades can read quite differently under our lights, so look in daylight too.
