“I went to Serenity with only a very small idea of knowing what I’d like and what would fit my shape. I spoke with Lyndsey at the beginning and after picking a few of my own she went off and had a look and picked a few more. Lindsey made me feel so comfortable when she was helping me change - she did her best to make the dresses look as real fitting as she could. She wasn’t rushing me at all and she 1000% wasn’t hard selling. She truely wanted me to pick the dress that was right for me rather than the more expensive one on the peg and I really enjoyed that about this because I gave me another honest opinion in the room that I felt was trustworthy. “From the beginning, you have been amazing. The communication was beyond great! When I booked my appointment, I received a confirmation email almost immediately. I received a phone call a couple day's before my appointment to confirm I was still attending and to go through a couple of questions on what type of dress I liked. I also then received a further phone call to inform me that my original consultant couldn’t make my appointment due to family emergency so I would be with a Junior Consultant - they gave me the choice to rebook but I am so glad I didn’t because Sammy was absolutely amazing!!! I wouldn’t have even known that she was a junior consultant because she got everything so spot on. She was super friendly which put me at ease straight away. All the dresses that I picked to try on, she knew everything about - designer, material…even told me what alterations I could potentially have done to make the sample dress fit better in order to save a little bit of money. At first, I thought I wanted just a simple A Line dress with a little lace but after trying on a couple, Sammy read my body language & listened to my answers to the questions she asked me and she hit the nail on the head - I was hiding my figure and actually felt more comfortable and more myself in a tighter fitted dress. After trying on some more fitted style dresses, Sammy found my perfect wedding dress and I said yes to the dress!!! I cannot thank Sammy enough, Will definitely be a core memory forever! We found it hard to find dresses we likes based on them being in the bags and difficult to judge what was inside. The dressing room was very spacious, clean and well lit so we could see exactly what the dresses looked like moving around and that was important. “Had a very positive experience here. This was my first shop so I didn’t know what to expect. I was greeted by friendly staff, who encouraged me to choose 4 dresses, then Lindsay supported me by choosing more based on my preferences. She was friendly and professional. We were offered white wine which was surprising as other stores offered celebratory fizz, and this was also the only store I visited that didn’t allow photos to be taken, making it difficult to recall some of the dresses I tried on and liked. Lindsay did, however, write down the details of my favourite dress, and provided her number to call, should I choose to purchase it. The store aesthetic is pretty, with mirrors all around, and a small podium to stand on when trying on the dresses. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.”

I must admit we didn’t get off to the best start, as you did know I was booked in so Rosie was totally unprepared. Also the fact that your not allowed to take photos of what you look like in the dresses so you can go back and compare the ones you’ve tried on is absolutely ridiculous.”

I like the process of being able to look through the dresses as not all shops let you do this. Perhaps picking a few in advance also would be beneficial as it can feel a little overwhelming looking at so many nice dresses on the hanger. I also think a phone call before the appointment would have been nice to get an intro to Lauren and understand how it works at your shop, as every shop is very different. I was going into the unknown and I think that would have helped put me at ease ahead of the day and allowed me to look forward to it a bit more. Great bonus that you offer tea, coffee and wine to the guests - no other shops I’ve visited do this. You have a lovely selection of dresses, particularly beautiful ball gown and a-line style dresses. In the end I found my tight fitted dress elsewhere, but I would highly recommend your shop to others on the search for their dress. Thank you for a lovey, memorable experience!”
