Lizabella is the label for the cape-and-drape look in our mother of the bride stock: 18 styles, many with a sheer chiffon cape or flutter cape over a fitted dress, and a fabric corsage at the shoulder or waist. Alongside those there are wrap and midi dresses, a colour-block navy wrap dress, a fit-and-flare with pockets, a two-piece with wide-leg trousers, a three-piece palazzo trouser set with a printed kimono jacket, and a dress with a cropped bolero. Colours include royal blue, hot pink, sage, stone, jade green, orchid and navy and white.

Everything here is off the peg: you buy the piece you try, in the size on the rail. Sizes in store run from UK 12 to 24, with several styles in more than one size, so you can try the cut as well as the colour. Come with the venue and the bride's colours in mind.
