We know that brides ‘use us’ to find their dream dress and then look for it cheaper on the Internet. There are many reasons for not doing that that you should be aware of – here’s one that happened recently…
We appreciate that many of you need to try and save money and we understand that, but don’t spoil what should be the best day of your life on a chance. Sometimes the dress are copies, sometimes they’ve been altered to fit a particular bride and sometimes they are greying as the tulle goes that way after exposure for a long time in a shop. So they might say new with tags….but they’re not like new necessarily. This girl saved £500 , but it’s actually going to cost her more than the original dress she fell in love with in our shop.
Also, after buying your dress from a good bridal shop, you have the aftercare service for professional alterations and storage. There’s no substitute for this.
Below is an email from a genuine bride who paid £950 for the dress she bought on the Internet. We have left out personal details and what she asked us to do.
Don’t let that be you!!!
“Hi ladies I hope you can help a seriously stressed bride 🙁 I came into your shop a few weeks ago and fell for your sophia tolli mirri weddin dress unfortunately I had only budgeted to spend a thousand pound on searching the Internet I found the exact dress brand new with tags when the dress arrived although it is marked size 10 it’s for a smaller height and was obviously fitted to the bride before I am so upset over the whole thing!”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
